SABLE, 19, was killed in action in the performance of his duty and service of his country. Mrs. SABLE was cautioned not to disclose her sons last duty station in the official notification. She did reveal however that he was in the South Pacific. Temporary burial took place in the locality of his death and further information was not disclosed due to the extreme import of his station. Robert was born in Charleroi and attended Charleroi high school. He worked in the Charleroi plant of Corning Glass Works and has been in the Marines eleven months. He had been overseas three months.
