    2. This was sent to me by Bettie Morrow of Bethel Park. This is just a "pot of gold" for my genealogy file, that I will share it here. The credit goes to Bettie for looking it up for me! from Citizens Library in Washington . . . Washington Reporter, Washington PA - Last Edition Wednesday 28 Jul 1897, front page Robt. Dunn Sr., died of stomach trouble at the residence of his son-in-law J. B. McClure, at Wyland, Wednesday morning. The funeral will take place Thursday at 1 o'clock, the interment to be in the Oak Spring Cemetery, at Canonsburg. Mr. Dunn was a native of County Down, Ireland, having emigrated to this country in 1847, just 50 years ago. Nearly all his life in America was spent in the neighborhood where his death has occurred. He was an excellent neighbor, a kind and loving father and a most consistent Christian gentleman. He was a member of the United Presbyterian Church at Thomas, in the welfare of which he took a great interest. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. J. B. McClure, Mrs. Daniel Duncan, Mrs. J. D. Pease; and by three sons, John, James and Robt. Jr. Mrs. W. W. McClure, a daughter, preceded him in death a short time ago. Another daughter and his wife died some years ago. Mr. Dunn was in his 81st year.
