    1. [PAMONVAL] Elizabeth Underwood, Speers, Ames, Dykeman, Frampton families
    2. Tom Speers
    3. Elizabeth Underwood married Charles Speers. They are buried in Monongahela Cemetery. They had 4 children - Ellen who m John Tucker Ames from NY, Mary who m a Dykeman ( I have more on this PA line) Charles Penny Speers m Nelsie ? and died in Sacramento, CA (also had a son Charles Penny Speers who died about 1997 in the Sacramento area) and Betty who m (Mac) Joseph Frampton of Massachusetts. I have been trying to contact some of these descendents. I believe Charles Street on top of Speers hill was named for the first Charles Speers, son of Solomon C. Speers 1832-1918 and Anne Elizabeth Walker 1836-1884. Solomon inherited part of Speers, from his father Rev. Henry Speers 1756-1840. One of my first dentists was an Underwood who had an office in lower Belle Vernon in the late 40's and early 50's. I met his sister about 1983/4 in Myrtle Beach, SC at the Baptist Church.
