I'll try to condense this long & twisted saga. My only confirmed CLARK is Mary "Polly" Clark, b. c1776 NJ, married Sep 14, 1797 Stillwater Reformed, Sussex Co., NJ by Rev. Jacob Senn to John COURTRIGHT. Pick a spelling for alternatives. :>) I haven't been able to connect her to a Clark family in Sussex Co. when they married they were living in Hardwick Twp, which later bacame part of Warren Co. I can trace the Courtrights back to the immigrant in 1663. There were several Clark families around the Minisink area to choose from. John & Mary's first chil was daughter Sarah b. 8/18/1798. Based on the naming practices of the time Mary's mother was most likely Sarah somebody. Lot of help huh?! In 1799 they moved to Washington/Beaver Co., PA.
