Clyde Ellsworth Wright, 83, of West Alexander RD 2, died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 1990, in his home. He was born Feb. 4, 1907, in Battelle Dist., W. Va., a son of John D. and Ira B. Moore Wright. Mr. Wright was a member of Dutch Fork Christian Church. He was a farmer and former member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. On Feb. 25, 1928, in Wheeling, he married Dorothy Byers Wright, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, C. Kenneth Wright of Pleasantville, Ohio, and Carl Bowman of West Alexander: five daughters, Mrs. Kenneth "Betty" Ullom, Mrs. George "Ruby" Verno, Mrs. Willard "Ida" Dorsey and Mrs. Gene "Lynn" Smith, all of West Alexander, and Mrs. Richard "Mabel" Rice of Kings Mountain, N.C.; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Daunice Pauline Wright, 77, of Forest Ave., Wheeling died Thursday, May 28, 1987 in the Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Wheeling, W. Va. She was born Aug. 27, 1909 in West Finley, Pa., daughter of late Emmett and Annie Fields Wright. Surviving are one brother: Gaylord Wright with whom she resided; three sisters; Jaunita McCoy, Warren, Ohio; Lurlene Yoders and Eloise McBribges both of Michigan City, Indiana; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger Street, Wheeling, W. Va. on Saturday, May 30, 1987 with the Rev. Harry Jenkins officiating. Wright Sr. Effie Glen Howard Wright, Arthurdale, W. Va.- died Thursday night at Preston Memorial Hospital, Kingwood, W. Va. She was born in Blacksville, W. Va., the daughter of the late William Howard and Minnie Mae Johnson Howard of Arthurdale, W. Va. who survives. Her husband, Ira (?) Wright, died in 1973. Besides her mother, she is also survived by one son, Howard L. Wright of Mechanicsburg; one sister, Mrs. B. L. "Audrey" Wells of Emmaus. She was a member of Reedsville United Methodist Church, and National Society of Daughters of American Revolution. Elma Ball Wright, 79, of Shirley, died Thursday in Shelby General Hospital, Marietta. She was a retired schoolteacher and a member of Shirley United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Odis, in 1967. Surviving are a daughter, Lynn L. Wright of Seattle, Washington; a stepdaughter, Cathryn Merritt of Shirley; two brothers, Winfred Ball of Panama City, Florida, and Robert Ball of Baltimore; five sisters, June Ball of Fairmont, W. Va., Katheryn Gillespie of Petersburg, Fla., Jean Humphrey of Pennsboro, W. Va., Madge Morgan of Lexington, Ky., and Mary Corkrin of Baltimore; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 P. M. Sunday at Furbee Funeral Home, Alma. Services will be held at 2 P.M. Monday at Shirley United Methodist Church. Interment in Shirley Cemetery. Va., died Wed., July 26, 1995, at his home. Mr. Wright was born April 7, 1919, in East Finley, a son of Emmett and Anne Fields Wright. He was a member of Elm Grove United Methodist Church, and he retired as custodian for the Ohio County Board of Education.                                Mr. Wright is survived by his wife, Gladys Frye Wright; two sons, John E. Wright, 86, of Vestaburg, formerly of Bobtown, died Monday, Feb. 7, 1994, in Brownsville General Hospital. She was born Sept. 11, 1907, in Paisley, Greene County, a daughter of Marshall and Myrtle Clark Helmick. Mrs. Wright was a former membet of the Order of Eastern Star of Masontown and the Beth Center Senior Citizens and was a charter member of the Shannopin Civic Club of Bobtown. Surviving are two sons, Richard F. Wright of New Port Richey, Florida, and Alfred Joseph Wright of Venice, Florida: one daughter, Sandra Kite of Vestaburg: eight grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and one brother, William Helmick of Gary, Indiana. She was 92. During more than half a century of research and teaching, Wright's studies ranged from investigating specks of cosmic dust called spherules to calculating the brightness of galaxies and developing systematic efforts to observe comets and meteors. Harold Leslie Wright, Member of Central Assembly of God Church, 83, of Sugar Maple Circle, Washington, died at 3:30 P.M. Tuesday, November 23, 1993, in Washington Hospital after being ill since April. Born June 14, 1910, in McKees Rocks, he was a son of Charles Ellis and Mable Comegys Wright. He was a member of Central Assembly of God in Houston. Mr. Wright was an accountant and was last employed by J. L. Miller. On June 14, 1940, he married Margaret Shaw Wright, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Richard S. Wright of Fulton, Ill., and William S. Wright of Coppell, Texas, two daughters, Mrs. Timothy "Lesley A." Gregory of Akron, Ohio, and Mrs. John W. "Amy E." Miller of Washington; and seven grandsons, Daniel, William and David Wright and John, Nathan, Aaron and Adam Miller. Deceased is one brother, John W. Wright. She was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church and a graduate of Washington High School. She was married Jan. 9, 1973, in Winchester, Va., to Terry D. Wright, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Eric and Robert McManus, both of Washington; one granddaughter, Cindy McManus, and two grandsons, Chris and Eric McManus.
