Hi All... It's been a while since I've had the chance to add much to the Mon Valley Web site, but I'll soon be able to get back in the swing of things. Just added are two, fairly large files, or more precisely 1 and a half: FINLEYVILLE Cemetery census. Gives the names, dates, ages, and lot numbers of all interments through 1999. This is two parts, the first of which is online now, (Surnames A-L). Part two (M - Z) will be uploaded soon. The total number of names when this is complete is about 3,100. Thanks to Priscilla Webb for her work, and to the management of the Cemetery for permission to post this list. The second scrapbook of Avarilla Bell Hess contains both newspaper clipping and handwritten notes that covers the mid Mon Valley. (Belle Vernon, Fayette City, Allenport areas predominantly. Thanks again to Teri Hewitt for her dedication and typing skills! I welcome any submissions from anyone to add to the list.
