I received this obituary this week from the library in Uniontown. I am researching this Furlong family and have corresponded with others on the list who have connections to them.   This obituary appeared in "The Morning Herald" on June 8, 1920: Louis Furlong Louis Furlong, aged 82 years, of Newell, died Sunday afternoon, June 6, 1920, at 6 o'clock after an illness of two weeks at his home in that place. Mr. Furlong was born in Wales and came to this country at the age of 33 years, enlisting in the Union army and serving during the war. The deceased was a prominent  member of the G.A.R.  Three sons and four daughters survive as follows:  John and Thomas Furlong, of California; Harry Furlong, of Newell; Mrs. Fannie Stephenson, of Newell; Mrs. V.S. Marchand, of Newell; Mrs. W.F. Johnson, of South Brownsville, and Mrs. B.D. Williams of Brownsville. Funeral Services will be held from the late residence, Newell, this afternoon at 1 o'clock. Tammy
