Hello, Does anyone have access to Humphrey's "History of Montgomery County" who could look up Isac Brechbiel for me. I tried to get it at my local Library but they don't have it. I then tried to get a inner Library Loan but the libraries who have it won't loan it. I know that Isac Brechbiel son' Joh. Brechbiel was baptized at New Hanover Lutheran Church on July 31,1748. I know his wife's name was Marie Catherine and he had a son named Stophel (Stephen) and a daughter named Barabra. But I can find no other reference as to his Father or Mother or siblings where he might have immigrated from. I did the FHC Canton Berne, Trachswald, Switzerland films and could not find any birth, baptizism or marriage for him. I also ordered "Marriages and Deaths of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania 1685-1800 and could find no reference to him. I would really appreciate it if someone in Montgomery County or with reference books pertaining to Montgomery County could do this for me. I am at my wit's end as to where to search next.
