hello Ivana: i saw your post re: spohn. my paternal gmother, Edna Moyer Landis,, had a younger sister, Irene Moyer. Irene married Walter SPOHN. Aunt Irene is still alive; walter is decsd. the SPOHNS, irene and walter, had at least two sons: Carl and Richard Spohn. SPOHN is an unusual name; Irene was born and lives in berks and montgomery counties, or that vicinty, in PA. she and walter lived outisde of boyertown, pa. Carl and Richard (i might be wrong on richard's name) but Carl and all that family live in or about boyertown. dont know if this helps. i live in phoenix, az, currently. but i was born in pottstown and grew up in gilbertsville. went to boyertown HS. my parents, harold and stella landis, jr., live in gilbertsville. my only brother, tom landis, lives in boyertown. i'll be visiting them over thanksgiving and doing more genealogy work. a good way to put meaning in the words "thanks-giving". where do you live? let me know re: spohn. regards, valerie landis.
