It's been a number of years since I was researching the Groff family. I have before me an anouncement of the Groff History Associates invitation to the 1993 Gathering of the Groff Descendants. Address of the Assoc is given as 151 Cherry Hill Rd, Ronks, PA 17572. And it mentions the book THE GROFF BOOK, Volume 2, An Update. The family historian and author was Clyde Groff. His first book was publ in 1985, a hardbound book of 433 pages which covers all families in the South East PA area from Graf to Groff to Grove. I noticed a year or more ago that Clyde had died, so don't know what the situation is at present. I would image you would get an answer to a letter. Or you could order the book(s) from LDS on microfilm. I also have an article entitled "Swiss Origins of Groff, Hess, Weber, Landis, and Oberholtzer Families" by Jane Evans Best, which appeared in the PA Mennonite Heritage Magazine in April 1990.
