But I've found nothing to support that idea. The ENGARDS married REDHEIFFERS who in turn married RITTENHOUSE who in turn married CASSELS (I believe). The LUKENS were living, playing around the ENGARDS as Joseph LUKENS got a Mary ENGARD pregnant and he was charged with bastardy. I am not accusing the LUKENS, just abstracting a court document.
