I am the granddaughter of Charles Thomson who was born in Royer's Ford on 9 Sep 1857 to parents James Thomson from Edinburgh, Scotland who worked in the new pulp mill and Elizabeth McCoy who was born 17 Mar 1840 and married on 18 Dec 1856 in Phoenixville. They moved to Canada about 1864. I have considerable info on father but only a name for mother. Does anyone know about the McCoys? Any accounts of the mill? Is there a geneology museum in the area?
