Hi everyone, My name is Connie Jones and I've always felt lucky to be a Jones -- easy to spell, always fits in those name grids, hard to mispronounce. Of course that was all before I got started in genealogy. Now I long for one of those unique surnames and maybe even a nice ethnic group that stuck to traditional child naming patterns. Oh well, the fun is in the hunt, right? My Jones were located in Conshohocken. The furthest back I've gotten is Jonathan and Martha and their family in 1850. Right now I'm looking to get a death date for both of them. I know they were living with their son Joseph in 1880. Since they were both born about 1808 I doubt that they made it to the 1900 census, of course I could be wrong and know that I should check. If I can get a date and a death cert then I will hopefully be able to go back one more generation. Any suggestions? I've got more names and dates but didn't want to inundate you.
