Hi: In another message to this list today, "Subject: Sackrider . . ." I am seeking information on surnames. I also wonder whether anyone on this list has ancestors whom arrived on the Brittania's 1731 trip. If so, what was their migration pattern from the Port of Philadelphia to what is now Montgomery Co. , particularly New Hanover? Did the passengers split up in groups and immediately leave the center of the city for different locales or did they remain in the port area and migrate later? Were the arrivees predestine to go inland to New Hanover to meet up with earlier family immigrants? If some on the list have ancestors whom made that trip we might be able to compile some history of whom went where, when; this could help in our research. Fletcher
