Hi List, I am trying to find information on Ephraim Hewitt and family. They arrived in Phila. PA., from Ireland in May 1860. Ephraim, wife Lydia and children Ephraim, William, Isabella and Ann. Ephraim, the son, married Mary Jane Naye, possibly about 1870. I know nothing about the other children. Ephraim, don't know if father or son, bought a cemetery plot at Montgomery Cemetery in 1865. There are no records of who is buried there. Samuel Gibson Hewitt, son Of Ephraim (the son) married Ella Bailey? and had children Gibson B. and Leroy?. Gibson B. died in 1916 and Samuel in 1917. Both are buried at Westminster Cemtery but I can't find a death certificate for them in New Castle. Other Montgomery Co. names are Naye and Scott Does anyone have information on this Hewitt family?
