"[Abstract of his will, written 29 November 1802, proved 22 August 1809]". Abstract of Montgomery County, PA, Wills, page 34.- Jack D. Mount. A soldier in Holstein's Co., 3rd Battery, PA Militia in the Revolution.- Jack D. Mount. --------------- I got William CLEAVER's death date of "9th mo, 8, 1809" from this book: Cleaver, William J. Some of the Descendants of Peter Cleaver; Westfield, IN, 1983, 332 pages.- Jack D. Mount Note this additional statement by Jack, however: However, it is impossible for William to have died on 8 September 1809! His will was proved on 22 August 1809. And, as I am sure you know, wills are proved after the person's death. So, I just guessed that the book or the Quaker records or whatever the source made a recording error, and, so I put the death date of 8 August on my Web page. I guess I should go back and put "about" before the date so people know that it is just a guess. --------------- Children of WILLIAM CLEAVER and MARY KNIGHT are: i. JONATHAN6 CLEAVER, b.
