This is the third oldest Catholic church in the state and is no longer used. It was established before St. Aloysius was built in Pottstown. The earliest burial there was 1839 and they are still conducting burials. Most of the graves are Irish and Italian immigrants who worked on the Schuylkill Canal. Some burials are from the 1917-1918 influenza plague. I'm willing to do lookups, although I do not think the list is complete. Please email me privately at cbeener1@cs.com if you want me to check on one of your ancestors. Colleen Ryan Beener --part1_76.15668fc.25c329c1_boundary--
