Up the street, at 236 5th Ave., there is a William E. Ferrier, age 82 widowed, retired, living with the family of Hugh McGuigan and wife Sarah, age 39. William is listed as father-in-law. Thee 1900 census showed 236 5th Ave. William E. Farrier, b. Oct. 1837, age 72, married 32 years, b. PA, father b. NY, mother b. PA, superintendant - water co. Sarah A., b. July, 1841, age 58, married 32 years,6 children/5 living., b. PA,parents b. PA The children with them were, Laura, b. Dec. 1874, age 25 Thomas, b. Aug. 1879, age 20 and Linda, b. Mar. 1881, age 19 and I found Hugh McGuigan at 371 Spring Mill Ave. in West Conshohocken in 1900...... He was b. Nov. 1869, age 30,b. MD, father b. PA, mother b. MD, carpenter and wife Sarah, b. April 1871, age 29,b. PA, parents b. PA daugh. Edith, b. July, 1894, age 5 I haven't found George in 1900 yet....I tried Ferrier and Farrier.....the indexer must have mangled it or he was elsewhere then. Hope this helps, Dianne
