Hi! I am seeking my cousin's relation, Chief Joe One Star, an entertainer and educator of children at various camps and parks in the 1940's and 1950's. He identifies himself as Oklahoma Cherokee, though I think he means the tribe was in Oklahoma, not he, himself. He attended Carlisle Indian School. I am beginning to identify him with two others, who may be one and the same! Eaglesbath Onestar - this fellow lists the same exact day of birth, except he says he was born 1898, and not 1900, as One Star was. However, this is on a WWI Registration card (of which I wish I had a good image!!). Naturally he would have wanted to appear older to get into the war. Then there is Joseph E. Mayer in the 1930 Bucks Census. That fellow is listed as follows: Bucks County, Morrisville, ED 41, Sheet 13A (it's stamped 41) Joseph E. Mayer age 30 - PA - England* - England Ada Ma[r]y Mayer age 33 - PA - PA - PA Elaine Mayer age 6 3/12 - PA - PA - PA He worked on the RR doing Electrical work. (again, I wish I had the image!!) Now my cousin's grandmother was maiden-named Ada Mary URIAN, and she was born in 1897! Thus the two birth dates (for Joseph and Ada) match to the exact year. The England, noted above, appears to be in error, and was a bit penned over in correction. So, since this is the WWI entry on Ancestry: Name: Eaglebath Onestar City: Not Stated County: Montgomery State: Pennsylvania Birth Date: 17 Sep 1898 Race: Indian Roll: 1907292 DraftBoard: 3 I am hoping someone will know him. And, I am hoping someone will actually have access to these images who would be willing to send me a copy via electronic attachment. Not in the form of a URL from Ancestry - that *never* works, and they know it. They make it too small to see, and if you try to enlarge it, they prevent you! Thanks, Vince Summers
