Lenore, I assume you were asking about the 1790 Census in Montgomery Co, PA, since there is no 1780 Census. In the 1790 Census, Montgomery Co, PA, Israel and several other DICKINSONs appear. Dickinson, Benjamin 1- -4- - Dickinson, Israel 1-1-1- - Dickinson, John 1- - - - Dickinson, John 2-2-3- - Column 1 = Free white males age 16 and up Column 2 = Free white males under 16 years Column 3 = Free white females Columns 4 & 5, not represented among Dickinsons, are for all other persons, and slaves. Unfortunately, the Dickinsons appear in the part of the Montgomery Co 1790 Census which is not broken down into townships.
