Searching for anything that indicates a line of Riders containing a William, George and John that moved away by 1820. I have these 3 men as coming to Wythe County VA and settling sometime around 1820. They had children, listed below are some of the names and birth dates that I know. I do not know which children belong to who for certain but there is some evidence that suggests William is the father of most if not all of them. A William and Christina is mentioned in a land record, a William and Mary Houser or Hosser is mentioned in the marriage of one of these children below. There is a Mary Jane Rider b. 1789 buried in Wythe. A Barbara Rider b. 1780 or so is in a census with Elizabeth Rider and her husband Joseph Pulliam. Among the trades practiced by these men are shoemaking, tailoring, printing, cabinet making and one was a butcher. Any advice, suggestions on where to look is appreciated.
