Can any one help me with this: George MOHR and Anna Maria NEUKIRCH were married in Schwartzwald Church on 9/27/1789. I am trying to find the parents of Anna Maria NEUKIRCH born 3/8/1770. She died 7/23/1803 a week after giving birth to her 8th child, Maria MOHR. I have a church confirmation of a Maria NEUKIRCH, age 16, on 4/9/1787 pub in the Penn-German Society showing that children of two congregations, New Goshenhoppen and Great Swamp, were confirmed that day by Joh. Theob. Faber. I was unaware of any NEUKIRCH in Montgomery County then. Are these churches close to Robeson in Berks Co? Are there records in anyone's books of any other NEUKIRCH at either of these churches or elsewhere prior to 1789? Would there be anything to show who the parents of Maria NEUKIRCH, confirmed that day, are? Does anyone know if these confirmation records are available somewhere? I have been unable to tie Anna Maria to any of the NEUKIRCH famiilies in Berks Co in the 1770s. Schwartzwald records do not go back to her birthdate which was 3/8/1770.
