Hello... I posted this years ago, but maybe someone can shed some light on my elusive ancestor, Jacob Larkin....This has been *bugging* me for year. This is what I know about him: He was born between 1800-1810, according to the 1830 census for Marlborogh Twp. He died in Sumneytown in a mill accident on 2 June 1835. According to his daughter, Sarah's death certificate Jacob's wife's last name was Krause. He is listed as serving in the War of 1812 in the Montgomery Co. History by Bean (Private, 52nd Regiment, 3rd Co, First brigade, 2nd Division -Captain John Wentz). I have checked as many sources as I can and I can't seem to find out where he is buried, his parents names or even where he was from prior to marriage. I've gone through most of the Schwenkfelder records and can't connect his wife to him in any way. It seems as if he just dropped out of the sky. I do know that his daughter, Sarah, born 20 March 1832, was the wife of John Fitzgerald. I have loads of information about this family, but nothing about Sarah prior to marriage. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? Or even better yet, has anyone researched this family? I appreciate any help you can give me.
