    3. all the will abstracts are indexed in the proper county. using the ftp directory to do searches is OK, but at times use of the Table of Contents is necessary. http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/pa/pafiles.htm is at the top of MOST files in the USGenWeb archives.... good idea to use it if you can't locate something through the ftp directory structure.... 1784 is the date of Montgomery Co formation.... PS all those files in the philly will abstract file with SUR in the title are the abstract indices. http://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/pa/philadelphia/wills/willsurab.txt [ab surnames etc.] > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > Subject: > Will Abstracts Phila Co. > From: > Michel Metford-Platt <metfordplatt@telkomsa.net> > Date: > Wed, 11 May 2005 11:24:56 +0200 > To: > PAMONTGO-L@rootsweb.com > > >Hi, I have been going through will abstracts in Montgomery Co. available >online.
