I have James Clay born @ 1812 who married Margaret Slonaker born @ 1813. James & Margaret were living in Pottstown, Montgomery Co., Pa in the 1850 Census. I'm sure Margaret was born in Montg. Co., James was born in Pa also. James & family moved to Philadelphia prior to the 1860 census as he was listed in the 7th Ward there. Any possible links?
