I know there is a 'Flourtown' in Montgomery County, in Upper Dublin Township. However, when I first started hunting for the elusive quarry, I was told that my gr grandfather lived in 'Flourtown' The LDS computer pulled up 'Flourtown' AND as being in Blockley Township in the 17th and 18th century. Blockley was evidently on the main road across the river, and in what is now West Philadelphia. Very near the line with Delaware County. To the best of my knowledge, gr grand lived his adult life in the general Spring Garden district in the mid-1800's The book reference only referred to 'Flourtown' in that context once. And I sat there and read the whole thing on the computer screen!! Does anyone know anything about a 'Flourtown' in the Spring Garden or Blockley areas of Philly? Ruth in GA
