They told me they did not have the personnel necessary to do the kind of search I required, but if I sent $40 they would hire someonew. I live in Calif. so I sent the 40 bucks. (I'd sent $10 with the original request.) About 4 months later I got the info. About 6 months after that, we had the opportunity to go to Philly, & to the cemetery, stopping in the office to get directions to the site. She went to the computer & called up the info on a map & handed it to me. It had all the info I had originally asked for, + a map. I think I paid for the data entry person! However, West Laurel Hills Cem. not only sent me the information, but they sent me info on all people of the same surname buried there + names & addresses of 2 other cems. with which they were affiliated! So I guess "yer pays your money & takes yer choice." If you decide to send the check, & they cash it, make copies, & if you don't hear from them in a reasonable length of time, send a copy showing they'd cashed it without giving you what you asked for, & request either the info or a refund.
