Hello List, Does anyone have any information on these Wright-Dungan, Wright-McVaugh, Dungan-McVaugh, marriages in the Philadelphia-Montgomery County area of Pennsylvania in late 1700's through the mid 1800's? I am trying to find the given name of the Wright who married Mary Harmstead Dungan (they were the parents of my grgrgrandfather, William James Wright). Mary Harmstead Dungan presumed to be the daughter of Amos Dungan and Ann McVaugh, and a niece of the Rosanna (Dungan) Wright who may have been (I haven't found proof yet) the wife of George Wright, son of William Wright and Eleanor Northrop. A sister of George Wright presumed to be married to Daniel McVaugh. My brick wall is the unknown Wright who married Mary Harmstead Dungan. If I can find his identity, maybe I can finally prove (or disprove) his descent from the Joseph Wright (d. 1716) of Philadelphia whose bio appears at: http://vader.castles.com/ftprints/8-100141.html Thank you for taking the time to read this.
