    2. Hi Peggy, Are you familiar with the journal, The Perkiomen Region? In Vol. 1, No. 6, published on Dec. 1, 1922 is an article on Nicholas Wohlfart/Wohlford who came to Pennsylvania on the ship, Snow Charlotte, on Sept. 5, 1743. It describes several generations of his family. It also includes a transcript of his will. It mentions your ancestor, Catharina, the wife of Peter Daub. Much of the data in this article comes from the Nicholas Wolford family Bible. His family is mentioned in many of the same records as my Mook/Muck/Muk family. I haave often wondered if the Wolford and Muck/Mook families were related in some way. Nicholas Wolford is mentioned as an overseer of the poor in several places in an article called "The Marlborough Township Book." This article was published in The Perkomen Region, Vol. 1, No. 4 on June 1, 1922. Nicholas belonged to the German Reformed congregation of the Old Goshenhoppen Church. I hope this is useful. I have a Catherine Wolford (Wohlfarth) b. 16 Mar 1729 in Montgomery Co. PA. d. ? she married Johann Peter Daub (Taub) birth date unknown. (their daughter Catherine Daub married a Schwenkfelder, John Phillip Heebner). I believe her parents were; Nicolaus Wohlfarth B. 4 DEc 1717 in probably Germany (my guess, I know he is not Swiss or Dutch, I believe he came from the area of Germany, that is now Poland). Do not know when he came to PA. but it was prior to 1747, as his first child, Abraham was born 1747. He married a Catharine Unknown b. 16 Mar 1729, birth place unknown. This is just my hunch, that Nicolaus was her father, I have no documentation, but he did have a daughter, Catherine etc.. I have not been able to find much else on this family. I have the siblings names etc., but would really like to first, find some documentation that Catherine was Nicolaus's and then trace the family to their origins in Europe. Would love to find his wife Catherine's par! ents. Any info would be great. To find the church they attended would be a great clue, if anyone knows.
