Hi Peggie; I am researching a signature quilt for a CO museum made in 1841-2 in Montgomery Co., PA. I just finished transcribing all the names and there is at least one Shaw. Any connection to that time period? When I get them all typed in, I will send all the names to the list; mostly Zimmerman, Slingluff, Supples, Supplee and others. It was made for a Susanna Zimmerman. This is just my hunch, that Nicolaus was her father, I have no documentation, but he did have a daughter, Catherine etc.. I have not been able to find much else on this family. I have the siblings names etc., but would really like to first, find some documentation that Catherine was Nicolaus's and then trace the family to their origins in Europe. Would love to find his wife Catherine's par! ents. Any info would be great. To find the church they attended would be a great clue, if anyone knows.
