Hi again! I was sent this information, in an attempt to find one of my relations: Phila. Inq. June 5, 1883 Phila. Pa. Phila. Free Lib. COX.-ON Sunday morning, June 3, ELIZABETH, wife of the late Benjamin Cox, aged seventy-eight years. The relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the residence of her son-in-law, Joseph W. Ambler, No 855 Marshall streeet, this morning, at 11 1/2 o'clock. To proceed to Green Tree, Montgomery Co. for internment. Now I do have COX in PA, and this is a topic I am pursuing at the moment (namely Stephen COX m. Elizabeth N.). But I do not find Benjamin at this time. Yet I read the obit, and see the name AMBLER there! I have two AMBLERs listed! Here they are: Charles A. AMBLER married ? and had a daughter Helen Richardson AMBLER Charles is from Abington. Helen married John "Jack" Wesley FITZGERALD on June 30, 1934 at Abington Presbyterian Church! Now, my FITZGERALD loops back onto my AYRES line, which loops onto my COX line! Odd, yet not rare. Can anyone provide any linkages here for me?
