List, Further, What is now 724 between Phoenixville and Pottstown, was in the 1950's PA Rt. 83. I traveled it many times in my '38 Chevy. Suffer me a family legend: My mother used to claim that the Seven Stars Inn (Chester Co. one) was furnished with antiques from our family. her maternal grandparents inherited the family farm outside of Spring City. About the end of WWII, it passed to her uncle and his wife, who were poor, but two-fisted German beer guzzlers. An old kerosene lamp, or chamber pot, or hand plow, etc. from the farm would buy them an entire evening of indulgence. Guess where ? For what it is worth...
