    3. Fran, here you are on this stuff again and posting queries, this time about the Hillegas family and the marriage of Johann Adam Hillegas to Maria Margaretha Heileman/Hahlman. May I bluntly ask do you not have a copy of the publication EARLY FAMILIES OF BERKS, BUCKS & MONTGOMERY COUNTY by Keith A/ Dull, published by Family Line Publications. If not, you have no need to post querries about these families until you get a copy of this book as it has sections on the Heilmann/Hahlman, Griesemer, and a very long section on the Hillegas family you alude to. Family Line, Westminster, MD. was founded and operated until Edwin Wright sold it to one of these boring turkeys who wants to do everything by e-mail with your market-basket, and there fore cease to publish catalogs that are so dear to the hearts of us old farts. Wright has established a new firm in Lewes, Del., called C OLONIAL ROOTS. Go to their website and look under PA. to see if, as I believe, he is selling it there. As you! can tell and anyone else can tell, I would lots rather support COLONIAL ROOTSanyday than FAMILY LINE. For these families the real horses mouth is the author, Keith Dull. You are in paradise to know that you are researching families of interest to Dull. He is involved in researching these families, not hanging on to antiquated publications of the 1930s, by going to the German and PA sources. What you need is to make contact with Dullwho I know from correspondence afew years back lived in Indianapolis, IN. Perhaps you can get his e-mail address trhough Colonial Roots. This is the path you want to take and will be most profitable. I do have the xerox copies of the pages on the Heilman family which I am still planning to send you and also copies of another Hallman/Heileman researcher from farther north of Worms, that shows the large families of this name in this area, from which I think SEVERAL HALLMAN/HEILEMANN CAME AND settled in Philadelphia County, and that some of those who are r! eputed to be descendants of Henry Hallman, Sr., of Anthony Hallman of Collegeville, are connected to these other families that not enough research has been done in Germany to see whether they are related in Germany. You simply need to buy yourself a copy of Keith Dull's book, and in this like Mrs. Slocum I am insistent. Philip Leonard.
