My Yeagers apparently go back from Schuylkill Co to Montgomery Co origins. I have recently gotten this connection from a correspondent and need to first check it out. My proven family is Elizabeth Yeager, b 1808 who married John Christian Berger in Schuylkill Co. I can send you what I have for previous generations if you are interested. Judy, my original information shows Christian WEBER was born in Holland, having been driven there from Bavaria. No town given. There is also information posted online I have not tried to corroborate that he was born in Germany, but married in Holland, son of Nicklaus WEBER and Catherine GERBER of Zwichau, Saxony. The family roots were shown as being in Zug, Switzerland. I have NOT confirmed any of the above. Do you have any tidbits of corroboration on this line? I have a lot of information on the family in Pennsylvania. Gene in Gotha

I was searching for wills and deeds for my Bedford County Tomlinson ancestors and I came across a "Release of Legatees of Lydia A. Cleaver" d. 3 DEC 1905 - Taken from "Release of Legatees" of Lydia Ann Tomlinson Cleaver: Distributions were made to John W Tomlinson and Lydia B. Headly of ?, F. Pearson Tomlinson and Albert S. Tomlinson of Bustleton, Pa, Eldridge Tomlinson and Watson Tomlinson of Byberry, Pa. Charles T. Kline of Philadelphia, Horace, Mabel B, John and Thornton Tomlinson of Bethayres, Montgomery Co, Issac Tomlinson of Bucks Co, Maggie Hibbs of Philadelphia, Guss Tomlinson of Philadelphia, Aaron Tomlinson of Bustleton, Ellen Tomlinson of Phila, M. Anna Webster and Thomas Tomlinson of Hatboro, Montgomery Co and Martha Knight of Phila. . I found a limited bit of info at a web search for Cleavers. Seems that a Thomas W. Cleaver s/o William E. Cleaver & Ann Way (b. 19 OCT 1834 d. 4 JUN 1918) married 1st a Ruth Blackburn (b. 18 AUG 1834 d. 23 OCT 1881) , 2nd a Lydia Ann Tomlinson ( b.13 FEB 1839 d. 3 DEC 1905 ) (m.13 FEB 1884), 3rd a Marjorie Croyle ( b. 1861 d. 1921). These parties all seem to be from Bedford county even though distributions were made to residents of Montgomery Co and Philadelphia so I believe that Lydia and/or Tom Cleaver were born there. I do know that Tom Cleaver and Lydia Ann Tomlinson were Quakers. Any help with especially this Tomlinson line would be appreciated. thanks, Joyce in Anchorage

The surnames I am researching in Montgomery/Bucks/Phil counties are: COOPER KENDERDINE LLOYD Marcia Cooper Giordano, Ohio
Hi, I am looking for the following surnames: SHANER, ROYER, NICK and GREGOIRE. In particular I am stuck on Jacob SHANER: I have almost no info on him except that he married Sarah Evans. Sarah M. EVANS, b. 5/14/1811, was the daughter of Samuel and Hannah Garrett Evans. She married Jacob Shaner on 2/13/1834. Jacob left her and went to Adams County, PA where he kept an inn. Sarah remarried William BAKER (d. 1/1/1881) who was the widower of Sarah's sister Ruth. Sarah died 2/20/1884. Jacob and Sarah had one child - Amos Shaner who was born Jan. 19, 1835 in Limerick, Montgomery County, PA and died Nov. 19, 1896. He was married to Elizabeth A. ROYER (b. May 16, 1838 Springville, PA & d. Sept. 28, 1899). They had seven children as follows: Charles A. b. 1859, Emma Catherine b. 1860 in East Vincent, John Frederick b. 1/1/1863 in East Coventry, David R. b. 8/3/1865 in East Vincent, William J. b. 1865 (David's twin), Amos b. 9/20/1874 in East Vincent, Mary L. 9/1878 Any help would be appreciated.
