Your option to upgrade to AOL 5.0 is on the Welcome screen when you first sign on to AOL. Are some of you saying you are having problems after you upgraded to 5.0 or even with 4.0? Cathey

Just left FTM with AOL with no problems Gene
Just for the record, the New Hanover Lutheran Church is in New Hanover Twp. and the address is Lutheran Road, Gilbertsville, Pa. 19525. There are many Stufflet families in New Hanover Twp. I do not know any of them personally. WILL
I have had not problems with AOL or Family Tree Maker. Can't understand the problem. Family Tree Maker has been a tremendous source of information for our family tree. WILL
Diane, I have also had a problem with AOL and Family Treemaker Library. If I call, FTM can fix it, but next time i log on, I have the same problem. Sometimes I think it is not worth it! They have not been able to permently fix it.

Does anyone have AOL and subscribe to Family Tree Maker's Genealogy Library? This worked fine until they upgraded AOL to 5.0. Now it takes ONE HOUR to get one page of the census and it will not print at all. It took one week to get a response from AOL and then it was 10 pages of instructions! Would like to hear if there is anyone else out there with AOL who has solved this. Diane

Kristan, Either get ahold of John T Humphrey's book, "Montgomery County Births 1682-1800" or find the records for these churches: New Goshenhoppen Reformed Congregation, New Hanover Lutheran Church, and Falkner Swamp Reformed Church, all in Upper Hanover Township. There are Stofelet/Stoffelet/ Stoffler/Stofflet births listed and the church records would also have marriages and deaths. Good luck. Diane
Hi! I'm new to this mailing list,as I have just been able to slip back one more generation, and it looks like this new found ancestor resided in Montgomery Co. in 175?...So, boy oh boy, could I use some help and direction!! Anyone out there heard of the STOPHLET name or any information? I believe his name was Michael STOPHLET. If you have any suggestions where I can start, I'd sure be appreciative! Thankx so much, Kristan Anderson

I have some records of the Augusta Ev.Lutheran Church at Trappe, Who are you researching? Mary in Florida "Betty J. I am researching Joseph F. Buzby who invented a Glass Insulator Buzby Insulator Glass Insulators Home Page . The patent copy I have states he lived in Royersford, Pa. in 1890, the patent date. It is signed by JE Snyder and DR Rhoads and the Model Drawing is witnessed by A. Ruppert and HA Daniels, the attorney was Thomas P. Simpson. Does anyone have any information on these names or information about how I could locate a law firm from 1890 in which Thomas P. Simpson practiced, please? Also, would anyone know of any type of business or facotry in the Royersford area that manufactured glass products or insulators? I am in Upstate New York and will appreciate any help. Thanks, Lea Simitz Buzby
Thank you so much for the correct title. I received a lot of responses to my query from some very nice people who all referred to this church book as Augustus Lutheran Church records and I have been searching for that title. Thanks for putting me on the right track Regards Gene
Augustus Lutheran - Trappe Church records are indeed printed in PENNSYLVANIA GERMAN CHURCH RECORDS by Yoder. The 3 vol. set is found at many genealogy libraries.
>thank you Brad for that List of Lists. Are you in Montgomery cty.; >i'll be visiting there next week. Valerie, I am still trying to find the "author" who compiled this list. He/she is the one that deserves the praise. I just passed it on to the "lists" that I suscribe to. No, I am not from Montgomery County, PA. though I would love to visit there someday. I live in Union, MO. about an hour west of St. Louis. Blessinsg, Brad Ziegler
Can anyone tell me the names of the churches in the Norristown? Thanks alot! Wendy
Betty; Thanks for your reply to Augustus Lutheran query. I have tried Amazon. com looking for baptismal records and found some books regarding this church but not their actual records of marriages, births, baptisms deaths. Wonder if it is included in another book Gene
Is anyone researching the surname Minder? Jane Green
thank you Brad for that List of Lists. Are you in Montgomery cty.; i'll be visiting there next week. regards, valerie landis
Yes, The Augustus Lutheran Church, Trapp, records have been published, just saw it the other night on Amazon.com. Also if you have access to a copy of "Perkiomen Region, Past and Present" Vol I, II, and III, edited by Henry Sassaman Doetter and reprinted in one volume by Adam's Apple Press, many of the Trappe church records are included.
