    1. [PAMONTGO-L] McGonegal?
    2. Carol M. Watts
    3. I just found this list and am submitting a request -- hoping to find the needle in the haystack. >From her gravestone, my ancestor Mrs. Margaret G. Montieth was born in Chestnut Hill, PA on Feb. 15, 1808 (and died in Indianapolis, IN on Sept. 9, 1875). I believe Chestnut Hill is in Whitemarsh Twp. Circa 1828 she married David Montieth who immigrated from Tyrone Co., (Northern) Ireland. They lived in Whitemarsh Twp and in Philadelphia until about 1845 when they moved to Eastern Indiana. I have only two clues as to her maiden name, neither are very reliable: either McGonegal or Managail. Can anyone offer advice? Thank you, Carol Montieth Watts Los Altos, CA carolwatts@attglobal.net

    1. Re: [PAMONTGO-L] MILLER family
    2. Mike, I have no Elizabeth (nor Liza/Eliza) Miller in my database. The Miller line is very small in my records. Sure would like to enlarge it though. Good luck. Maybe Donna will come forward. Gerre Engard Byrd

    2. Donna Hull
    3. I'm researching for Jacob Miller who was b. Germany 1702, came to US with parents c1715. His future wife, Margaret Miller (not related) & her parents were on the same boat. The settled at Falkner's Swamp, then in Philadelphia Co., PA, now in Montgomery Co. Their children who I have found are: Jacob Miller, b. c1726, m. Elizabeth Fudge in Augusta, dtr/o John Peter Fuchs/Fudge/Votch & other spellings. John Miller, b. c1728, m. Barbara Mauzy in Augusta Christian Henry Barbara m. Jacob Mann in Augusta Co. 1750's Catherine, m. George Conrad in Augusta 1750's It is not known if Jacob & Margaret moved to VA or if they stayed & died in your area. The children I have listed moved c1745 to Augusta Co., VA. About 1775 all but Christian & Henry moved S. to Greenbrier Co., VA. Christian & Henry may have been killed in the French & Indian wars. I recently published a book on this family, but I still have unanswered questions. I answer one & find two more :-) Donna

    2. Kathy Jost Shouse
    3. Looking for information on the HOLTON family that lived in Conshohocken about 1932. The name Blanche was mentioned in an old address book believed to be dated about then. Is there anyone who might have access to a city directory that could look the surname HOLTON up for me in that time frame. Any help would really be appreciated. Kathy Jost Shouse

    1. [PAMONTGO-L] WARNER Genesee County "Overseer of the Poor" WARNER (KMO)
    2. Hello All, I am asking for any help anyone can give me regarding the dead-end I have hit regarding my WARNER roots in Genesee County, Michigan. The family I am seeking is that of WASHINGTON WARNER and his wife Mary (unknown maiden name). In the 1860 census, three of their children are shown: GEORGE (1847), LYDIA 1850) and EMORY BRADFORD WARNER ( my great-grandfather) (1852). All three were born in Flushing Township (Genesee County, MI). By 1880, Emory Warner has married CAROLINE PERKINS, whose family hailed from Jefferson County, New York and settled in Hemlock (Saginaw County), MI. Washington WARNER's occupation is listed as a shoemaker, a trade carried on by his sons. The 1860 census records also show that Washington and Mary were born in New York, but the 1880 census shows them being born in Pennsylvania. A book titled "The History of Genesee County" (MI) written around 1890, shows Washington Warner listed under "Overseers of the Poor 1848. There are Warner references in Eaton and Shiawassee Counties, MI. Family lore from my 95 year old cousin says The Warner family in Pennsylvania might have been from the Philadelphia or Pittsburgh areas, with a reference to "Pennsylvania Dutch," which surprised me because I have been told my Warner's emigrated from either England or Ireland. Yes, I'm confused too! Thank you for taking the time to read all of this. Any information will be 100% more than I have right now. Can I sound any more pitifully desperate? Sincerely, Kevin O'Brien Laguna Hills, California Researching: Dorchester Perkins Shannon Van Schaick Warner Ivall Lowe Gauley

    2. Vince Summers
    3. Hello again, folks... I was given this tidbit: Mary Emma LARZELERE m. Oswald Jackson DeROUSSE 1894. I do not seek oodles of LARZELERE data, but I would like to find out more about this person, and perhaps siblings and parents. Does anyone have anything on this? I have heard that Montgomery and Bucks Counties and Burlington County NJ were the stomping grounds for this line... Thanks, Vince Summers
