    3. Listers-- I have the following two sets of Church Record volumes. I will do lookups for you, BUT please give me complete information, as much as you know on full name, possible dates, place, etc. I will NOT write back for more information from you--I'll just delete your request. Please put "Lookup" as the first word in the Subject line. Last time I offered something like this, I got over 300 requests for lookups. If that happens this time, you'll have to be patient on when I can get to all of them. 1. [PAMONTGO-L] Quarrys in Montgomery County
    2. Hi Everyone, I have a gg grandmother Annie Luxeon ELLIS, b. AUG 1847 in the Cornwall District of England. She first appears in the 1850 US Census, as a resident of Upper Merion Township, and being 3 yrs old. Also shown are her parents, James 35 (Quarryman), Mary Ann 32, and siblings, James 7, William 5, and George 8/12. They are also indexed as "Born in England", along with, I believe, an older sibling, Elizabeth, b. 15 OCT 1838, and probably working elsewhere as a domestic. I have two questions for the list. First, does anyone have anything else on this family? They have been particularly elusive for myself and a friend, also a lister, who descends from Elizabeth. Second, does anyone know where a quarryman would work in Upper Merion Twp in 1850? I know they used to dig lime at Port Kennedy, and there is a huge rock quarry on DeKalb Pike in King Manor, but have no idea if either of these were operating in 1850. Many Thanks, Bob Reifsneider Orange Park, FL

    1. [PAMONTGO-L] Montgomery County Courthouse
    2. Judy A. Burdick
    3. HI Listers, Several weeks ago I visited Reading and Norristown on my research trip. Although I searched both wills and deed books for Jesse Hunsberger and ancestors, I must have missed something. The Hunsberger Book lists his father as John Hackman Hunsberger, who died intestate, according to estate records on file at the courthouse. Jesse is not listed in those files, but the other 3 children are named. So in order to verify the correct parentage, I wrote to the Hunsberger Association and asked for their source material. They responded, and now I need a lookup at the Montgomery County Courthouse, which I will not be able to do in person for a long time. Could someone in the locale help me? The verifying documents I need are: Montg. County, PA Deed Book V266, page 129, Miscellaneous Book V22, page 162 (release), and Estate Records RW 11861 and OC 8363. If someone can get me copies of these, I will pay you the postage plus copy price, which at that courthouse is usually $1.00 per page. (at least in Wills, that was the price). I read through the estate records of John Hunsberger, who died intestate, and only three of the children's names were on the renunciation papers. I couldn't find Jesse anywhere. I searched the Grantor and Grantee indexes for Jesse Hunsberger and the Jesse I found there was a different person, not my gggrandfather. So I'm not quite sure how I missed the information. Thanks for any help. Judy in upstate NY ________________________________________________________________ YOU'RE PAYING TOO MUCH FOR THE INTERNET! Juno now offers FREE Internet Access! This is the third oldest Catholic church in the state and is no longer used. It was established before St. Aloysius was built in Pottstown. The earliest burial there was 1839 and they are still conducting burials. Most of the graves are Irish and Italian immigrants who worked on the Schuylkill Canal. Some burials are from the 1917-1918 influenza plague. I'm willing to do lookups, although I do not think the list is complete.
