    3. Hi Faith and list: I am in TX, so cannot go to the cemetary for you, but I do have a list of most of the MILLERS buried there since 1885. I also have some LONG, STALKER, GREEN, and HUTMAN names. I would like to hear from you if you are looking for any of these, and I would really like to know if you find any earlier records for the cemetary. 3. I like to request that those of us on the list issue our e-mails with a subject pertaining to what we are discussing, not a subject for 3 days ago. this one is a good example & I do not flame just this person. I am trying to do lookups on PA church records & I've seen just as many messages that have used that subject line & discuss something totally unrelated, as those who discussed what they wanted in a lookup. These lookups take time & I'm pleased to do them, but you sure can't tell on the Digest mode if there is something you want to look at. No flames, just be helpful to everyone on the list & have a subject pertain to your material. And don't put generic subjects like: Genealogy, Family Tree, Searching, or like one I saw today, "Stuff". God a digest today, 6 messages from a Surname list, using a subject line of "My ***** Family" [no need to name family] Now that tells me a whole lot when I assume everyone is on that list because they have a ***** connection. A given name would be nice in that case It would be totally great if you put surname(s) & if room, date in the subject. 2. Hello List, I am new to this list. The families I am researching did not originate in Montgomery County (as far as I know), but many of them chose to be buried there! Is there anyone living near Gladwyn who would be willing and able to visit the Odd Fellows Cemetery for me? (I live overseas and can't come there myself just yet) I need to know if certain family members are buried there. Thanks......Faith Faithgib@aol.com

    1. Re: [PAMONTGO-L] Lookup on Church records offered/CURLL
    2. I would appreciate it if whoever is doing the lookups would check for the funeral of THOMAS JEFFERSON CURLL, who died before 1860, probably in Norristown. A child with that name died June 7, 1849, in Norristown, as did a brother, JOSHUA JAMES CURLL (same date), and JACOB JAMES CURLL, who died June 13, 1949. Maybe the father was laid to rest with his sons. Thank you so much, Phyllis Wilkinson

    1. [PAMONTGO-L] CURLL, Thomas Jefferson, Norristown, PA.
    2. Thomas Jefferson CURLL, b. abt. 1815, married Anna Marie, b. abt. 1816. He disappeared from the records before 1860, and Anna Marie (mnu) CURLL died November 20, 1860. They had (according to my calculation) 10 or 11 kids, mostly born in Montgomery Co., but the family seems to have some connections to Philadelphia and Tredyffrin, Chester Co. Their children were: i. JOSHUA JAMES3 CURLL, b. Abt. 1841; d. June 07, 1849, Norristown, Montgomery Co., PA.. ii. JEROME CURLL, b. Abt. 1843; d. January 19, 1862, in the service of the Union Army, buried in Tredyffrin-Easttown, The Great Valley Baptist Church Cemetary. iii. MARGARET CURLL, b. Abt. 1844, married GEORGE EMORY,b abt. 1830. iv. THOMAS JEFFERSON CURLL, b. Abt. 1846; d. June 07, 1849, Norristown, Montgomery Co., PA.. v. JACOB JAMES CURLL, b. Abt. 1848; d. June 13, 1849, Norristown, Montgomery Co., PA.. vi. SAMUEL CURLL, b. Abt. 1849; m. LOUISE J. KREMER, August 14, 1871. 2. vii. THOMAS JEFFERSON CURLL, JR., b. June 08, 1852, Norristown, Montgomery Co., PA.; d. March 07, 1926, Philadelphia, PA.. viii. CROMWELL CURLL, b. Abt. 1853; m. LENA L. BRAUGHTON, August 14, 1881, Norristown, Montgomery Co., PA.; b. Valley Forge, PA.. ix. ARABELLA CURLL, b. Abt. 1855, Norristown, Montgomery Co., PA.; m. JOHN H. GOLDER, September 05, 1879, Norristown, Montgomery Co., PA.; b. Bridgeport, PA.. x. JOHN CURLL, b. Abt. 1858. xi. ANNA M. CURLL (Probably) I believe that the elder THOMAS JEFFERSON CURLL, b. was the son of THOMAS CURLL, b. 1790, of Delaware Co., PA., and MARGARET PEARCE, b. abt. 1795, of Chesterfield Co., PA., who married Oct 4, 1808, in Chesterfield Co., PA. Anybody out there working on this line? I'd appreciate any additions or corrections to this line. Phyllis Wilkinson Key Largo, FL.

    2. Jean, Looking deeper into my files, the only info I have relating to the MOHR family is: Hanss Leonhard TRUMPFHELLER b.1688 in Germany, married Elisabetha MOHR (daughter of Isaac MOHR) IN 1718 in Germany. One of their sons, Johannes Leonhart DRUMHELLER (my grx5grandfather) b.1720 in Germany, arrived in America in 1754, and settled in Nothumberland County, PA. So we have a span of over 100 years between yours and my info. I don't know if we're of the same MOHR line, but should I find more info I'll surely let you know. Mary Lou Kline Media, PA

    1. Re: [PAMONTGO-L] Lookup on Church records offered
    2. Look up Donna, Thanks so much for your kind offer. I have several connundrums re linking family members in two grave sites. 1) Joseph T Hipple brn 1861 married Jennie E (might also be Emma Jane Miller). Their oldest child was born/died 1884 (Harlen A Hipple B or D 7/29/1884 ) so I assume their marriage was between 1880-1883. I do not know Joseph Hipple's parents names so if you could find a birth record as well it would be helpful. 2) Jennie E Hipple was brn 1863. If is possible her birth name was Emma Jean or Emma Jane Miller. I am not sure of the name of her parents, but it might be Catharine and Absalom Miller. 3) Catharine (9-18-1846 - 1977??) and Absalom Miller (1835 or 1839 to 8-9-1892) might have had two daughters, Mary and Emma Jane brn 1863 (AKA Jennie E.) I do not know anything more about them. I do assume that their marriage was between 1858 and 1862. Any help that you can give me in links between the Millers and the Hipples would be appreciated. If you can find information re the birth and marriage of these people, I would just be thriilled. Thanks again Joan Frizzell frizzell@lasalle.edu

    1. Re: [PAMONTGO-L] Lookup on Church records offered/MOHR
    2. there could be a connection as John and Anna MOHR had a son named ISSAC MOHR ABOUT 1881, but because I cannot find any information on myGrandmother Elizabeth Marie Mohr to see who where her parents came from, I cannot know. It looks promising. Do you have any information for the time period that Anna and John MOHR married, supposedly in Chester County? That would have beenn 1879 or 1880, I would appreciate it. We have been looking for years, Thanks Jean Almond MIAMI, fL.
