The three of them are buried in Mt Zion Cemetery outside Pottstown. I would like to know cause of death of George W SAVAGE. Daniel LANDIS was from N Coventry and born in Warwich Twp in Chester Co but lived his married life in Pottstown and was co-owner of a business at High and Penn St-- 'Landis and Snell'. He was born 8/2/1850 and died in 11/1886 in Pottstown and was an elder in the First Baptist Church on Charlotte St. Clara SAVAGE was dau of George W. and Charlotte MOHR SAVAGE. She remarried an Abercrombie after death of Daniel but is buried with Daniel Landis at Mt ZIon . They had two children: Walter Savage LANDIS and Charlotte Savage LANDIS (Lottie) in 1881 and 1885, resp. After Clara died in 1900, Lottie and Walter were with their grandmother Charlotte SAVAGE and in school until age 21. Walter S Landis attended Lehigh Univ; Lottie went to Moravian College until age 21 when she married Robert S WILLIAMS from Talladega AL and moved to AL to live. Nahanial SAVAGE(1807-1888) was uncle of George W SAVAGE and married Esther SMITH of Pottstown. They lived in Pottstown also. Had 3 children: Elhanan, Mary(m Nathan HOFFMAN) , and Josiah SAVAGE, died in Iowa 1914. I am looking for marriage date of Clara and Daniel LANDIS. Also, cause of death for George W SAVAGE. And any info on Nathaniel and his father ZENAS SAVAGE. Any info on any of these LANDIS or SAVAGE would be appreciated. If the Pottstown HS has records, I will be willing to reimburse anyone who goes there for copies of any records. Any family history is helpful. If notPottstown, would there be any info at Montgomery Co HIst Society? Thank anyone for help in obtaining info on this side of my family. Diana
