I got this today thought I would pass it on Dingman's Ferry-Delaware Township Historical Society is hosting Ghost Waters, a documentary by local filmmaker Nick Patrick The Ghost Waters film will be presented on Thursday April 16,2009 at the Delaware Township Municipal building-116 Wilson Hill Road, Dingman's Ferry, Pa. starting at 7pm. This film is a documentary in the making about historical events that took place during the Tock's Dam Era. This project forced many families from their homes and properties that had been in the family for generations. this land is now preserved and known as The Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Nick's plan for the documentary, once finished, is for the education of students to both sides of this controversial issue. At this time, the film shows the properties on NJ side of the Delaware River, including Bevans, Peters Valley and Flatbrookville NJ. It is his desire to meet people and document the events that also happened in dingman's Ferry during the early 1960's The public is cordially invited.Please come and socialize with your friends and neighbors.
