bebjamin franklin schoonover, was born in middle smithfield twp. , monroe co., nov. 16, 1825, s/o daniel and cornelia (swartwood) on march 5, 1873 he married sarah van campen, a native of marhsall falls, monroe co, she was the d/o john m. and jane b. (heller) van campen, they were both reared in n.j., then moved to monroe co. pa., where the mother died at age 32, buried in bushkill cem. the father was born 1818. the maternal grandparents were michael and elizabeth (depew) heller, natives of pike co. and n.j. respectively, both buried in bushkill. charles labar heller, of lehman twp., born sept. 10, 1833, s/o john and julia (smith) heller. his paternal grandparents were simon and sarah (carpenter) heller of bushkill, the former son of john heller charles labar heller, married nov. 10, 1863 at bushkill to clarissa d. wallace. mr. heller's 1st american ancerstor, christian heller, was born in germany. from him the line is traced through simon heller, sr. who was born in hellertown, northampton co., john heller born in hamilton twp, monroe co., simon heller of bushkilll and hon. john keller, charles labar.
