Friedrich and Maria are probably the family in Heidelberg Township in the 1840 census, while only Maria and son Solomon are in the 1850 census, next door to Elias and Lydia Dengler, and 6 children. By 1850 Frederick and brother John are in Delaware Co., OH, under the name Dangler (because of the way it is pronounced) so I'm looking for earlier records, particularly baptism that would pin down the parents names, and then possibly a marriage record for the parents.
