INFO Hi Geri, Might you have anything in your Bucks Co. info on the HOLE - HOEL - HOELL family. They are said to have come to Bucks Co. c. 1740. I have a few items I have found, but not much: 'The Compendium of American Genealogy, 1600s-1800s - Volume VI, Lineage Records', Page 473: 'Jacob Hole (b 1689) from Eng. 1740 settled in Bucks Co., PA m Barbara -' 'Farrand Family Page' - FTM: 'Jacob and Barbara sailed with their children from Plymouth, England to Philadelphia, settling in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Three of the sons removed from Bucks County, Pennsylvania to Virginia. These were Peter, Charles and Daniel.' I have found info on Hole's in Wayne Co., but believe it is a different family. Also found one mention of a Hole in Bucks Co. re taxes. Thanks so much, Geri. A bit more I can delve into. The family I 'belong' to I do not feel is part of the one from England c 1740. I am actually looking in Suffolk Co., LI, NY, but also want to do what I can on the 1740 folk, just in case.
