john casper stover john michael dotterer of rudolph dotterer, jan. 1732. sp. john michael dotterer john george dottere, of rudolph, april 23, 1734. sp. george dotterer and wf. montgomery co. history george philip dodderer of falkners swamp, carpenter, bought of hans neuse, of northern liberties, on dec. 22, 1722, 100 acres, and on feb. 2, 1725, 50 acres. he made his will on the 19th of oct. 1741. he died on the 6th day of the following month. his wife veronica, survived him till 1752. their children were, michael, bernhard, who settled in new hanover, anna elisabeth married 1st michael zimmerman and 2nd jacob korr, hieronimus, barbara w/o jacob markley, of skippac and conrad. hieronimus, s/o george philip dodderer, died nov. 1727, he left a widow, catharine, who shortly afterwards married michael krause and had 2 daughters,-first, veronica, born jan. 7, 1725 married philip yost, died dec. 7, 1798; second, agnes, born feb. 4, 1727, jost bitting, died nov. 2, 1785. conrad, youngest son of george philip dodderer, was born in 1712, and died jan. 1801. his wf magdalena, to whom he married in jan. 1732, died aug. 21, 1797. their children were christian, jacob, conrad (who ! it appears married margaret pannebacker, d/o peter, and moved to frederick co., md.) abraham, catharine, christina, susanna, elizabeth, and magdalena who married feb. 23, 1786 to peter esterlein of new hanover. michael "dotterer" of falkners swamp, s/o george philip "dodderer", on the 24th of jan. 1726. he married anna maria fisher, d/o jacob and sophia fisher, an early settler of new goshenhoppen, in hanover twp. their children were anna sophia, born 1726, anna veronica, 1727, george philip, 1729, john conrad, 1731, maria margaret, 1733, michael, 1735, jacob, 1737, a son, 1739, twins died in infancy born 1741, anna maria, 1745 john nyce, on the 21st of sept, 1724 bought of his father hans neues of northern liberties 200 acres. he made a will dated 5 feb 1738/39. he appointed as execs his wf mary and henry antes. the children of john and mary nyce were john, joel, zacharias, william, george, susanna married peter fedelee, mary married john ringer. john nyce jr., married about 1747 to catharine hahn and settled at indian creek; their children were, elizabeth, philip, john and abraham. he died about 1756. zacharias nyce married in 1756 to margaret hahn. their children were, maria, 1758, catharine, 1760, susanna, 1762, elisabeth, 1764, johannes, 1767, margaret, 1777. they lived in frederick twp. george nyce was a tanner in frederick twp., he married 1st anna dotterer, d/o bernhard and gertrude dodderer, of new hanover, their children were john, maria, and joseph. he married 2nd __ fuhrman. their children were, george, 1760, jacob, nancy, mary, elisabeth, catharine. he died dec. 5, 1789. the name of ! this family is variously spelled nice, nyce, and de nice.
