lebanon co. history weigley, william m. long prior to 1734 john michael weigley had settled in lower salford twp., of which time he was a land owner. his son george died 1760, leaving a widow and 5 children, viz; elizabeth w/o frederick gable, catharine, george, margaret, and john. adam weigley, immediate progenito of the family in lebanon co., was born 1744 in lancaster co. william weigley s/o jacob and catharine (miller) was born jan. 1. 1818 at millbach, lebanon co. his grandfather adam weigley of german parentage, was born near reamstown, lancaster co., in 1744. for a long period he lived in montgomery co., he moved to berks co., where he died. he married hannah eva walters and their children were, joseph, samuel, david, daniel, jacob, elizabeth, sarah, catharine, and susannah. jacob weigley was the youngest son, born jan 22, 1789 and resided at mill bach where he died 21 dec. 1880. he married catharine miller, sept 28, 1810, she was the d/o john, born jan 7, 1792, died 21 march 1869. children; mary, isaac, charles, william m., allen, caroline, lucy a., henrietta, oliver and john, william m. weigley married in 1841 to anna rex, d/o abraham rex, of shaefferstown, and a granddau. of john henry shaeffer, whose father was alexander. children are rex married mary e. bothwick of phila., william wallace married mary a. forney, d/o late john w. forney of phila and anna isadora, w/o theordore d. griswold of st. joe., mo. rex-con't viii jacob oct 5, 1772 ix william oct 13, 1775 x. anna, march 23, 1776 xi. abraham, dec 10, 1776 xii. margaret, dec. 28, 1781 xiii. catarina dec. 25, 1783 Best Wishes, Geri
