lehigh co.history sieger family john george sieger, who came from bavaria on the ship bilaner townshead in 1737. he followed the king george highway as far as the present village of siegersville. he took a horse, a wagon and farming implements. his wf was anna catharine miller. we have a record of the 2 children of john and ana sieger, samuel, morning, july 2, 1760, died nov 28, 1835, and a dau. married to john hoffman. samuel sieger, rev. war vet. married elizabetj REX, born jan. 5, 1757, died feb 5, 1826. they had 12 children, 6 died young, they were, michael, john, peter, john georg, hannah, born 1795, died 1890, married george roth, eva, born 1777, died 1867, married george schoudt. peter sieger s/o samuel and elixabeth (REX) located in phila. john george sieger, s/o samuel and elizabeth (REX), was born in s. whitehall, march 12, 1800, died april 7, 1852, he married elisabeth stopp. children; nathan, ephraim, william, born 1834, died 1903, married sarah hower, owen, franklin g., of allentown, mary married eli metzgar, hannah married josiah kern and atillia marrid jonas p. gaumer.
