Line (NJ) Doll, Henry, PA line, soldier enlisted in Allentown, Lehigh County, applied at York County aged 64 Doll, John, PA., applied at Lehigh County, a resident of Berks County Doll, Martin wife Elizabeth, soldier enlisted at Allentown, soldier applied at York County, 1818, soldier married Elizabeth (?) in Sept 1787, soldier died in York County May 31, 1831 Miller, Harrison, subject, of Jackson, Monroe County, was born at Houser Mill, May 22, 1852. Grandfather, Frderick Miller was born and reared in Jackson township. Great-grandfather Frederick Miller, Sr., probably occurred there. Pheans Miller, was born in Jackson township, Oct 12, 1826 and was married to Mary Singer, a dau., of John and Susie Singer, of Jackson twp., children, Harrison and Anna who died at age 9 months. On Sept 13, 1883, at Easton, he (Harrison) married Emma Doll, who was born in Jackson, Dec 20, 1862. Children; Edith, born 1884, Grace, 1886, Leroy, 1888, Frederick, born 1897 Emma (Doll) Miller;s paternal grandfather Jacob Doll was born in Monroe County when it formed a part of Northampton County. He married Catharine "Ruthstine", also a native of Monroe County and a daughter of Frederick Ruthstine. Children, Elizabeth, of Jackson, married Eliz. Hay, John married Susan Felker, Frederick,,the father of Emma (Doll) Miller, Samuel married Sophia Boier, George married Susan Singer, of Jackson but moved to Mehoopany, PA., Joseph of Mehoopany, married first to Mary "Smoke", 2nd to Hannah Seip, Charles married Hannah Transue, they lived in Stroudsburge, Louisa who married George Smith of Jackson, Katie, who married James Evans of Pocono twp., Sarah Slutter, of Hamilton twp., Betsy who married William Bower, of Hamilton twp., Hannah who married Charles Slutter of Hamilton twp., and Christine who married Robert Daily of Pocono twp. Frederick Doll, Emma's father, was born Sept 8, 1819, he married in Hamilton twp, on May 3, 1840 (ME Church, Rev. Gross) to Mary Miller. Mary (Doll) Miller, born Feb 6. 1823 died Jan 20, 1899. Her grandfather, Jacob Miller, was born, reared and married in Pocono twp, but lived much of his life in Jackson twp. Her father Jacob Miller, Jr. was a native of Jackson twp,he married Pauline Kresge of Chestnut Hill. Mr. Miller followed farming in Chestnut Hill, where his death occurred, his wife died in Jackson twp., while on a visit. Mrs. Frederick Doll was the eldest of their children; Samuel, Betsy, the wife of Joseph Frantz of Jackson, Sally Anna who married John Felker, of Jackson twp.. and died in 1890, Jacob who married 1st Betsy Houser, 2nd to Sarah Shoop, Joshua lived in Chestnut Hill, Jonas, killed in the Civil war, Thomas of Jackson, Hannah married William Smith of Newfield, NY and Barbara of Newfield, NY. The children of Frederick Doll and Mary (Miller) were; Uriah born 1841, and lived in Tompkins County, NY. Elizabeth born 1845, married Jacob Kresge of Jackson twp., Mary Ann, married Louis Belsher, Catherine, who was born 1852 married Moses Ace, of Scanton, Sarah Ann born 1854 married Jacob Strom, of Jackson, Jacob, born 1857 Jonah, born 1859, Emma who married Harrison Miller, James Wilmer, who married Martha Anglemoyer. Possinger Grandfather, John Possinger, of Bucks County, settled in Monroe County (Jackson twp.) He married Elizabeth Handeline and they had 3 sons and 3 daughters. Father, Joseph Possinger, was born Feb. 4, 1802, he married Margaret Becker, of Jackson, a d/o Henry Becker. Children; Rosanna who married Philip Frailey, Sarah Ann who married Sebastian Singer, of Pocono twp., Peter of Bradford County, John of Jackson, Amandus, Joseph of Jackson, Catharine, who married Godrey Ruff of Bradford county, Margaret who died at 31, Edwin died as a baby, The father died July 17, 1877 and the mother died Feb. 10, 1885 Amandus Possinger, married March 20, 1864 to Mary A. Williams, who died Dec 3, 1892, leaving 3 children, Edward, Emma who married W.B. Morton and they lived in Ohio, and Minnie, the wife of N.D.Kresge of Cleveland. Amandus married 2nd to Mrs. Mary ('Shiets") Singer, the widow of Elias Singer and d/o John Shietz. She was born in Chestnut Hill, Feb 8, 1837 Hay, Jonas, subject, of Tobyhanna, Monroe County, born in Jackson twp., Jan 24, 1836 and is the son of Samuel Hay. Our subject is the 3rd child in order of birth in a family of 8 children; William, born 1833, lived in Wayne County, Elizabeth born 1834 , Rachel, born 1840 and married William Bonsor, Samuel H., and Sally Ann (twins) were born 1843, Mary, born 1845, she married Joseph Bonsor and Charle , born 1848. At Wilks Barra, Jonas Hay married Anna Overback of Stroud township, Monroe County, d/o John. She died 28 Aug 1874, aged 33y 6m and 24d. There were 2 children, Joseph E., who married Alice Dunlap and lived in Tobyhanna, and Mary Emma, born 1866, she died at age 2.
