Grandfather, John Horn, came from Germany when he was a boy, settled in Windsor twp., Member of the United Brethren Church, He married Elizabeth Deckman, and they had children; Michael, George, John, Daniel, and Peter, twins Philip and Elizabeth, Mattie, who married Emanuel Stiles, and Catharine who married John Blymyer. II. George Horn was married 3 times, his 1st wife was the d/o Jacob Gabel, they had 2 children, who died young. 2nd wife was Mary Wagner, and they had 4 children; Emeline, who married John Stump of Windsor, Andrew W., Benjamin F., Caleb. Mary (Wagner) died 1857. He married 3rd to Susan Arnold, d/o George Arnold of Spring Garden township and had children; David of Springetsbury, Catharine, the wife Samuel Adair of York township and one died in infancy. III. Benjamin Franklin Horn, married in 1874 to Sarah J., d/o Henry Knaub of Springfield township. Children; Amelia who married George Emenheiser, of East York and had children (Stewart, Albert, Elizabeth, and one who died) Deckman, Oliver C. A native of Lancaster county (Newton) he was born Aug 29 1872, s/o Sampson . Sampson Deckman, was born and reared in York County, He married Emma Kelly, who was born in Havre de Grace. MD. Children; Oliver C., Martha, Charles of Warren, PA., Elizabeth who married Oliver Vanisdael, Minnie, Warren, Mary, Paul, Grace, Cleveland. Lucy, Letha, Ethan, Farie. Members of the Evangelical Church Oliver C., married on Oct. 6, 1895 to Mary L. Forry, d/o Ulrich S. Forry, of York, but moved to Lebanon county. Phillip Family, old Berks County name, they settled in Bern township. Came to Northumberland county. John Phillips traces his descent from early Berks County settlers through two line, his father's and his mother's, Susanna (Phillips)Phillips, have been the daughter of George Phillips, the first of the line to come to Northumberland county. He was born in Berks County March 24, 1774 and died April 28, 1852. His wife Sarah (Fuchs) died Sept. 25, 1836 aged 61. Buried at Zion's (Stone Valley) Church. Children; John Heinrich born Jan 9, 1803 and died Oct 23, 1853, Maricah who married Peter Brosius, Elizabeth who married Peter Witmer, Catharine, born April 9, 1805 died Sept. 30, 1889 married Michael Witmer, Sallie who married Heinrich Fox, Christine, Susanna who married Jacob Phillips. Solomon Phillips, the progenitor of the family came to America in the ship "Phoenix". He settled in Center township, two of his sons, Michael and Heinrich, Michael's son John H., lived to be 105 and the latter's son, Jacob lived to be 95. Heinrich Phillips married Esther (Mogel), children; Peter, Jacob, Samuel, John Adam, and several daughters. Jacob Phillips, father of Jacob Phillips and grandfather of John Phillips was born in Berks County and he came to Northumberland at age 18. He married Suanna Phillips, d/o George. Northampton County Philips, Valentine, born 1 July 1759 died 22 Ot 1834, children; Elizabeth married John Groner, Susanna married Michael Miller, Jacob, John, Catharine. Anna Maria w/o Valentine born May 6, 1762 died 20 Dec 1843 Philips, George F., born Dec. 1772 died 5 June 1836 Horn, Abraham, and wife Susanna, a dau., Catharine, born 21 Dec 1779 Wagner, "Frikrich" and Cathaine, a dau. Elizabetha, born 4 Jan 1780 Boyer, Friederich, a son Friederich, born 20 Dec 1782 Wagner, G.
