He united in marriage wth a Miss Herter and had children, Martin, Daniel, John, George, Michael, Jonas, Jacob, Conrad, William,Christina, Mary, Sarah, and ____, William, the youngest and the father of Esaias, was a native of Carbon County, was born Oct 5, 1805. He married Elizabeth Heilman, of the same county. Children; Aaron, Esaias, Emeline, Moses, Lucy, Sarah, William H., and Mary. His son, Esaias, was born Nov 21, 1831 in Carbon County, at the home of his father. He became a clerk at Weissport, Carbon County. Mr. Rehrig married in 1855 to Margaret, eldest daughter of James Lackey,of Cataqauqua.
