    3. Decker Randall Van Gorden, married March 10, 1863, at Milford, to Hanna L. Decker. She was the great-granddaughter of Daniel Decker, who ran the old Decker Ferry, which crosses the Delaware river below Bushkill. His son, John Decker, was born April 24, 1780 and died March 10, 1827. He was a farmer of Wallpack, Sussex County, NJ., where he passed his entire life. His wife, Maria (Brokaw) Decker, was born Sept 19, 1787 and died July 31, 1823. Both are buried at Wallpack. His son, Peter Decker, was born Sept 18, 1806, in Wallpack. in 1838 he moved to Lehman township, Pike County. In 1867 he moved to Smithfield, Monroe County, engaged in hotel keeping, conducting the old Central Hotel, which is known as the old half- way- house, between Port Jervis and Stroudsburg. Peter Decker, married Margerie Smith, who was born July 10, 1810, d/o William and Mary (Decker) Smith of Wallpack, NJ. The mother died there, the father in Montrose, PA Peter and Margerie had the following; Mary, July 20, 1830, who married Shay Depew; Salache, Aug 4, 1832, Angeline, Dec 21, 1834,married Oliver Place; William S.., Dec 24, 1836; John, April 19, 1839, married Margaret Pipher; Hanna L., Aug 15, 1841; Belinda, Jan 15, 1844, married Joseph Bensley of Lehman township; Malvine, Sept 16, 1846, married John Overfield; George, Dec 29, 1846, married Mary Shoemaker. Moses Van Gorden, grandfather, was born in Leham township, Pike Co. On May 28, 1781 he married Elizabeth Van Etten, a native of Pike County, who father, Jacobus Van Etten, came to the county from his native county, Holland, to the US, settling in Pike Co.
